Little Dancer
I was awakened yesterday to Abby next to my bed trying to put on her pink tights, leotard and ballet slippers. She said something like mommy I need help getting these on so I can be a beautiful dancer and I do arabesque for you and walk on my tippy toes. Then told me that I used to be a beautiful dancer like she is. She makes me laugh every day!
Such Great Parents?
The other day Stu warmed up a bottle for Sam and as he was feeding him Sam was just grunting and wining. We didn't know why. We thought my be he had a tummy ache because that was just not like him to be fussy. Stu tried to feed him and bounce him for a while then I took him and I looked at the bottle and it still had 7oz in it. He had been sucking on it for 15 minutes or so and had not gotten any milk out of it. Poor little guy had been working on a clogged nipple. We switched out the nipple and he went to town eating. He didn't make a sound just ate. Sorry little man!

Christmas Day 2011
Abby got a dancer book from Santa in her stocking!
Abby was helping Sammy boy open his stoking present.
Santa brought Abby a kitchen!
Hopefully Santa will use less tape next year. Abby had to get every piece off.
He also brought her some pretend food.
I just wanted a picture of my mantle this year.
Before anyone got up!
This will probably be the last year Abby will be happy eating breakfast before she even goes and looks at the Christmas tree.
The aftermath.

Christmas Eve
Then Stu and I came home and watched the Nativity DVD with Abby. She liked looking for baby Jesus. (When we would ask her what tomorrow was she would say Baby Jesus' birthday. When we were on our way to the grocery store yesterday she said we need to get Baby Jesus a cake for his birthday.)
Then we put the kids to bed, straightened up, wrapped a few more presents and enjoyed watching The Holiday together.

Christmas Traditions
Yesterday was a fun filled day. We went bowling with Steph, Eric and Family... Abby loved it! Then went to dinner at Hires with the whole family. Last Stu and I took the kids for a Christmasy evening of fun! Every year growing up we would go and get our picture taken with Santa. I always looked forward to it. I really wanted to do the same thing with my kids. So last night Stu and I took the kids to Trolley Square to see Santa. We got a cute picture of Sam, but Abby was afraid of him. When we were walking up to him Abby said to me I don't want a kitchen. Just because she did not want to go sit on his lap. Finally Stu took her up to him and held her and she whispered to him she wanted a kitchen, but she did not want to get too close. Trolley Square was the perfect place to go see Santa. There was no line and no one there taking pictures, We could take all the pictures we wanted and we were not obligated to buy anything. After Santa, we drove down Christmas Street in Sugar House. That is another one of my family's traditions. Every Christmas Eve after we left my Grandma Cleo's we would go drive down Christmas Street. Abby enjoyed it. She loves looking at Christmas lights and blow ups. On our way to Christmas Street we drove up Bryan Ave. and there was a house that had a train layout in the front yard. We had to stop and take pictures and a video for my dad.
-Dad I think you should work on that for next year!
