Incredible
Abby asked if she could watch The Incredibles this morning. I said to her yep, and I think I will just sit here and watch it with you cause I'm tired and I'm an incredible mom. She informed me I was not incredible, I'm just a person! Glad she put me back in my place.

Stu's First Delivery
Stu helped deliver and caught his first baby yesterday. He was pretty excited about it! It was a baby girl. He just wishes his dad was still practicing so he could do a little more. He knows his dad would have let him in on even more of the action!

My Prince
Today Abby and I were reading princess stories and I asked her if she was going to live happily ever after and she said, "Yep and daddy's my prince cause I'm just a baby princess." Here are some pics of Princess Abby, the first one she is trying to dance with prince Sam the second she is showing off her Pocahontas shoes. The third she waving her wand.
Poopin'
So a few days ago Abby needed to go poop and she came running to me in the kitchen and said, "Mom I have to go poop so bad." I said, "Hurry let's go." She proceeded to set up all of her Minnie toys before she would go. They all needed to watch. Then she told me to leave. Abby has done really well potty training this week she has had three nights that she has woken up dry. We still have an accident here and there but got the most part she's doing great.
The Red Box
Abby has her friend Sydnie over right now and they are playing with Barbie Mermaids. She said to Sydnie's mom, "I don't have the Barbie Mermaid movie. I borrowed it from the Red Box."

Ostrigles
Abby and I we counting our fingers, eyes, ears, nose and mouth the other night and I pointed out we have two nostrils. Abby put her fingers up her noes and said two ostrigles. I just laughed and smiled.
Poopy training
Today Abby did really well potty training. When I was putting her to bed I said, "You did so well potty training today!" She replies," And poopy training too!!!" It made my day.
Potty Training Update
So I started a potty chart on Monday for Abby. Abby had a rough first day but the second day she went pooped in the toilet twice and stayed dry all day except nap time. Wednesday she pooped twice in her panties. Thursday I think she pooped in the toilet but I think she pooped in her panties too. Friday she pooped in the toilet twice did have one potty accident but other than that stayed dry all day and she woke up this morning dry. Yahoo!!! We are almost there. She really wants her Barbie mermaid.

Abigail Jane Curtis - Age 3
So I'm a little behind on my blogging. Abby turned three on July 14, 2012 and she had her 3 yr appointment on July 19.
Weight: 35.27 lbs (87%)
Height: 38.03 in (74%)
BMI: 17.1 (84%)
Abby is a big girl! Dr. Gustin said she is perfectly healthy. At her appointment Dr. Gustin asked her to some questions about colors and I think Abby deliberately told her the wrong color, but Dr. Gustin could see what she was doing. She said, "She has a lot of personality!" Boy she sure does!!! We love that little spunky personality running around here. Dr. Gustin asked her if she ate health food and she said she eats oatmeal. Dr. Gustin said that's a good answer. She does like oatmeal. I think instant oatmeal is one of her favorite foods. We also talked about getting rid of her binky. I am not looking forward to that. That was pretty much her whole appointment. Not shots just a quick appointment.
Abby right at age 3...
Food:
Abby loves Quaker instant oatmeal (cold with almond milk), pancakes and Eggo waffles with syrup. (She loves grandmas sugar free syrup. I just let her eat it she doesn't need to know there is a difference.) She also love Frosted shredded wheat, Marshmallow Mateys, and Honey oats. Those are her favorite breakfast cereals oh and she will sometimes eat some of grandma and granpda's eggs and she likes bacon. Lunch and/or dinner she likes peanut butter and honey bear sandwiches (cut specials ways), she LOVES Romen Noodles, she would eat them every meal if I would let her. Sometimes she eats Mac and cheese, Chicken nuggets, pizza, frozen peas and corn. She likes corn on the cob, broccoli, strawberries, raspberries, peaches, apples, watermelon, pears, oranges, sometimes bananas and grapes. Desserts are a favorite of Abby's -am sure they are most kids favorite. She love ice cream, Oreo's, Poptarts (she thinks they are dessert), and candy. McDonald's, Chick-Fil-A, and El Farol are some of her favorite restaurants.
Play Time:
Abby loves, My Little Pony's, Disney Princesses, Ariel is her favorite, Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Barbie, especially Barbie Mermaids, Strawberry Shortcake, dollys and playing doctor and dress up. She loves water, swimming, playing in the sink or water table. She loves Cowabunga bay water park. She is awesome at going down all the slides. Lately she has been pretending to be a gymnast, probably because of the olympics we have been watching. She love to dance whenever there is music. She loves to be outside swinging and on the hammock. She also love to watch TV. Her favorite shows right now are Angelina ballerina, Octonauts, I don't know there are a lot. Movies right now, The Lion King, Barbie movies, Ariel's Beginning, Dinsey movies, a few months ago she watched Fantastic Four over and over again. She liked the rock guy. We don't know why but she kept asking to watch it. Those are just some I can think of, I am sure I am missing so much but that all I can think of right at this moment.
We have been working on potty training for the last couple weeks. Some days are okay some days stink. She does fine as long as she isn't distracted. If she has friends to play with it is too much work to leave her fiend and go to the bathroom so she usually has accidents. She did poop once in the toilet a great big one but no more poops since. Always in her panties. I hope it gets easier.
Abby is such a a joy in our lives. She keeps us on our toes. She always has something to say and is always making us laugh. I don't know what we would do with out her. I love to snuggle with her, that is when she lets me. I love her hugs and kisses. Not so much her tantrums, but that's life with a 2/3 year old!

Waggle
Abby was watching Little Einsteins tonight and they said, "Can you waggle your tail like an arctic fox?" I asked Abby if she could and she said, "I don't have a tail but I can waggle, see!" Just love little kids comments.
