Winter family photo

My mom need a picture of our little family for her Christmas card so we took a few snap shots. I thought this was pretty cute.

December 1st

Stu and I decided to start our own tradition this year. We decided to open Jammies on December 1st instead of Christmas Eve. We both loved the tradition our families had of opening Jammies on Christmas Eve but they were always Christmas Jammies so you wore them that night and maybe for a few weeks after that but that was about it. So, we thought Abby and our future kids might enjoy opening their Jammies on December 1st so they could enjoy them all month. Obviously this year opening Jammies was all for me and Stu, Abby would have been just fine if we would have given her Curly ribbon. Here is Abbers modeling her new "My First Christmas" Jammies.
The reindeer feet and bum are me favorite part.

Thanksgiving 2009

This year we Enjoyed Thanksgiving at the Curtis'. We had a wonderful day. It started of with Thanksgiving Dinner at about 1:00 so that we could eat left overs for dinner. Gotta love leftovers. Then we spent a lot of the day looking through the Black Friday adds, while Abby tried to eat them faster than you could read them, napping, as much as you can with a little one, then played a good game of Ticket to Ride. One of my favorite games. I finished off the day by going up to the Midnight Madness Sale at the outlets in Park City with my sister. I didn't get home until 3:00am. It was crazy, but fun and we got some good deals.

Stu's sister Michele, Dan and their kids, Annie and Eva and Joshua (not in the picture), Grandma and Grandpa Curtis and Me and Abby. (Stu was taking the picture)YUMMY!
Abby played with her toys for a while, while I enjoyed my food.
Then Abby enjoyed some Sweet Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, and Jello.
The after Thanksgiving present Grandma LaFaunda gave Abby to start off the holidays... a cozy fleece blanket.

Just in time for Thanksgiving!

Abby got a highchair just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. I had the hardest time picking one out. They are all so big and ugly, but we finally decided on this one.

Fun Firsts!

Abby had her first solid food tonight, Apple Sauce. At first she seemed to really like it, then after a while she started to give us a bitter beer face and kind of shivered. It was pretty funny. She would open her mouth every time the spoon started coming her way, so she didn't mind it too much. Here are some pics!

4 month check up!

Today was Abby's 4 month check-up. She now weighs 15 lbs and is 26 1/4 inches tall. She has moved down a little... She is now in between the 90th and 95th percentile for weight and has moved up on height... she is now above the 95th percentile in height. Our little giant! She got two shots today and was not to happy about it. Dr. Cramer did tell us to start her on solids. He said to give her anything we eat, just to have fun! He said if we are having Lasagna for dinner give her Lasagna.
Listen to this... When we were in the elevator on our way to the pediatrician a man in the elevator looks at Abby and says to me... I think you are feeding you baby to much. He was totally serious too. Jerk!
Look at those thighs!

Halloween '09

Here are some pictures from Abby's 1st Halloween. Abby was the cutest, cuddliest little Bumble Bee! I don't think she knew what to think of all the weird dressed people around especially her pig virus parents.
The scariest thing around H1 N1 and a baby bumble bee.

That light up there is really cool!
