Albany Adventures Day 5

What a day!  We started with our washer and dyer being delivered!  Yahoo!

Super excited about those!  Them the fun started. We found a leak in our basement the night before so I called a plumber to come check it out. Then I notice the garbage disposal didn't work so I had the plumber check that out too. Well... Now we have a new garbage disposal and new piping under the sink because it was leaking too I found out.  I had to call the city to come find and turn off the water to the house so we could fix the leak in the basement. A nice fee for that! And now that is fixed and we have a nice whole in our wall too. Welcome to home ownership right! 

We still got a lot done today considering. I got a lot of the bathroom cleaning and some stuff put away. We finished more of the kitchen. I did a few loads of laundry in my new fancy LG washer and dryer. The best part is we got the family room all put together. 

Got the kids in bed and now it's time for me!  Hope everyone sleeps better tonight than they did last night!

Face painting by Abby

Today Abby made a sign that said, face painting by Abby. Then walk down the street asking for money and she would paint their face. One of our neighbors did give Abby a dollar and letter her paint her hand. Then she painted a couple kids faces for free after I said I would give her .50. Crazy kid!

Albany Adventures Day 4

We pretty much got a lot of the kitchen done today. I can't believe how much kitchen crap we have. Thank goodness for Lafaunda helping me. I don't know I would have known where to start. 

Today we are first night sleeping in out new house. Abby and Sam are sharing a room. It took awhile, but they finally fell asleep. I think they will really like sharing a room once they get used to the new routine. 

Albany adventures day 3

Moving day!  We are officially home owners! We are pretty excited. Here goes nothin!

Adventures in Albany day 1... 1:00 AM. We arrive, get to our hotel, we are all about to go to bed and Abby falls off the bed hits her head on the nightstand and cuts her eyebrow bad enough she probably needs stitches.

Soccer game talk...

We are at Abby's Soccer game and I asked Stu if I should get up and do a cheer. He said, "I wanna see a toe touch." Sam got mad and said, "It's not a toe touch it's a tow truck!"

Abby hates soccer!

We fight her every week to go to soccer. The first time someone stole the ball from her she cried. She has asked me multiple times to unsign me up for soccer. Today Abby is kind of willing to go in and play but then just walks around. I think we will stick to dance or gymnastics!

Fabreeze

We are downstairs packing and Stu says to Sam, "Let's go change your bum you stink."  Sam refuses as usual and goes upstairs a little while later her comes back downstairs smelling really strongly of fabeeze.  He had gone upstairs and sprayed himself with Fabreeze. Didn't quite cut it though!

Best friends

The past couple weeks Abby and Sam have become best friends. I love it. I love to watch them and listen to them. It makes me so happy. They do everything together. If Sam is sad he goes to "Babby" to make him feel better. Or if he is crying or gets hurt he wants Babby to calm him down. Those are his exact words. They just play and play for hours. Tonight Abby wanted him to read stories at bed time with her and she wanted to sit right by him. Tonight they were kind of wrestling and I heard Abby say, "Sam, I love you," and Sam said, "Babby you love me? Ahhh!"  It was the cutest thing. It melted my heart. They built a train tonight and came to show it to me and said that is was a very slow moving train, it was a "slowcamotive."  I thought that was very creative on Abby's part. They are always together. Sam says to Abby all the time, "Babby you want to play with me!" And Abby is constantly asking Sam to color with her or do puzzles or just telling him what to do and Sam loves it. I hope this is a start of a life long friendship     I really hope it continues it's so dang fun and I makes my life easier too. They are such cuties. I love them so much.

Little things...

I love finding little things like this. Sam must have lined up his shoes with daddy's. Stu asked if I had done it. ( : 

Today's funnies!

Sam got up at 6:40 this morning so I went up stairs turned on a movie and went back to bed. Them Abby came in an hour later or so and she wanted someone to go up stairs with her. I told her Sam was up there so she went up. A little while later Stu and I went up stairs and Abby says to us, "I had to babysit Sam while you guys where sleeping and I'm tired of him!" Stu and I busted out laughing and Stu say, "Sounds a lot like you... I've had the kids all day and I'm tired of them." That's why it was so funny!

Now Sam... He is walking down the stairs and wines, "These stairs are too big I need smaller ones." Granted he goes down those stairs a million times a day. 

Abby and Sam found our little duck toilet downstairs and they brought it up and cause Abby says Sam wants to potty train. Them they take it in the bathroom and a little while later they both come out and Abby says, "Sam sat on the duck toilet and went potty in his diaper so I put a new one on." Sam comes walking out with a very loose fitting diaper. It was pretty funny!

Here is a laugh!

Recap on some of the funnies today... Abby was wearing the new striped outfit her grandma sent her and she stuck her head inside the neck and said, "Wow it's a rainbow fantasy in here!" Then I bought Sam a new play drill with my 20 bucks at toysrus because the one he got for Christmas isn't battery powered so he thinks it is broken.  He holds it and says, "Now I can screw!" Then he proceeded to wear the goggles that came with the drill all night and carry his drill. He was having a great time drilling or screwing his beans at El Farol with his safety goggles on for protection. 

And Sam thought the car wash was hilarious!

White Christmas

Abby, Why is this guy on the iPod singing about a white Christmas. What does that mean. 

Me, maybe because he lives somewhere where it doesn't snow and he wishes he could have snow for Christmas. 

Abby, where does he live, where does it not snow? 

Me, maybe Florida. 

Abby, maybe Disneyland or California. Me, maybe. 

Abby, I want to go to Disneyland or somewhere it doesn't snow. 

Me, me too, but for now let's just enjoy our beautiful white Christmas.

Comment of the day from Sam...He came walking in the room and Stuart said to him, "Sam are you poopy?" Sam replies, "Nope!" Stu then says, "Then who is?" Sam, "Baby Jesus."

Funny Sam

We are at Discovery Gateway playing on the life flight helicopter and Sam just said to me, "Helicopter doesn't blast off it's just stuck!" He is very frustrated about that.
