Getting so big

Somebody's graduating to a booster seat. Abby will be 4 this Saturday and is so excited to have a booster. 

Some how I made it😳

I don't know how I made it through today. It's been a rough one with the kids. It's 9:00 and I'm going to go to bed and pray for a better day tomorrow. 

Bless the chocolate milk...

Tonight when I was putting Sam to bed he reminded me we needed to say prayers. Then he immediately started praying, "Heaveny foder," then I chimed in and said a few things that he echoed. Then he cept saying dinner, dinner. It didn't matter what I said he wanted to bless dinner I guess. Then he said, "and chocat milk. So we blessed the chocolate milk. The he always throws his arms up and says, Amen!  Then he yelled, "gen!" So we prayed again.  He just makes me laugh. 

Abby's Preschool Graduation

Abby had her 1st preschool graduation last Thursday. It was kind of late for Abbers. It was at 7:30 pm so she was a little tired. First, she would not wear her graduation cap. Then after second song she was rocking back on her chair and fell off backwards. She cried and I think was a little embarrassed. She sat on my late for the rest of the program. We are so proud of all she had learned and accomplished this passed year. 

She looked so big and grown up. 

This is we're she walked up to the microphone and was supposed to say my name is Abby then spell it, but she just walked up and said my name is 

A-b-b-y and just spelled it out. She was the youngest in her class. She was the only one not starting kindergarten next year.

Today I was putting Sam down for a nap and I said, "I love you Sammy!" And it was quite on the other end. I said, "Can you say love you momma!"  He yells, "Bye!"

Preschool day at the Zoo

A few weeks ago Abby went to the zoo with her preschool class. She had so much fun. Her teacher Miss Nicole said she got lost but only for a couple minutes!  I have to admit its not the first time she's wondered off and been lost at the zoo.

So Abby has an old flip phone on her nightstand next to her bed and tonight she picks is up and says, "Hi daddy!" Then turns to me and says, "Mommy it's daddy on the phone, you know the one that goes to school and to work all the time, you know the one you married!"  I just busted out laughing. Then she had about a minute conversation that's was so sweet I wish I could remember all that's he said to her daddy on her pretend phone call. She ended with an I love you. It melted my heart. That girl is too cute!

This morning Abby came into my room and picked up my bra said, "Mommy, I really like your sea shells."

Sticker party!

Well, since its 4 am and once again I can't sleep I going post about this funny bugger. Today him and Abby had a hay day with stickers!  This picture doesn't even do their sticker job justice. He had them all over his arms and legs and more on his face that we or he had taken off already. They thought they were to funny. I can't believe he kept them in so long.

As I put Sam to bed tonight I said, "Love you Sammy!" And he stood up and and said, "Wub Ooo!"  Melted my heart. It's first time he has said I love you back. 

This is the Place

This week we went to This is the Place State park with one of my best friends Christine who is in town from California. We had so much fun.The kids  absolutely loved it.  Sam loved all the trains. He was in heaven. Abby and Spencer are just best buds. It is so cute to watch them. It makes me sad they don't live closer, but we will enjoy the time we get with them. 

Happy Mother's Day

It has been a great Mother's day.  We started the day by going to Simon's baby blessing. Then enjoyed a yummy lunch here with Michele, Dan and family and Grandpa and Grandma. My favorite part of my day was my gift from Abby. (Pictured below). She gave me a darling card that she had made at preschool and a bookmark with her picture on it. Also, inside the card was this little note. If you read it you will see that I have some hidden talents that even I don't know about... Such as sewing dresses and dolls, making m and m cookies, and I know a lot about tigers. I just thought that was too funny. I love her to pieces. A few weeks ago she cut her dress with scissors and I fixed it by just cutting it more. Maybe that's what she meant by sewing dresses. She is such a funny bug.

My card from Stu! I love him so much. What would my life be with out him and my two beautiful children. I also want to say how much I love my mom and thank you for all she has done for me and all the sacrifices she has made for me through out her life. I love you mom!

After playing outside they were pretty dirty. I had to snap a pic of the two of them trying to drink out of the tap at the same time.

Sam was outside helping us plant our garden yesterday. As you can see he was a real big help! ; ) and these pictures don't even show how messy his clothes and legs were.

Today's activities

Today started with a ride on "the houseboat" in Lake Powell. 

  Next a little TV for Sam while mommy showered. Abby was upstairs doing art with noodles. 

Then we spend some time with our friends Holly and Jade. I loved this picture of Sam and Jade looking at each other. 

Now daddy should be finishing up his family medicine final her in about five minutes. Yay!  And daddy will be home all weekend and will have no homework. Yippie! Date night tonight! Dinner and Iron Man 3.

Abby's been busy

Artist Abby's been busy again!  These are SOME if today's works of art. There are a couple of maps, pictures of Lake Powell and I think one of Disneyland.

I made a meal that all four of us would eat tonight and it wasn't chicken nuggets!  It was a cheesy chicken and rice. Sam couldn't get enough. I think he ate like three bowls full. Hallelujah!  I will make this every week!!!!
