Tic Tacs are the best toy ever according to Sam. That is until Abby ate them all!

Teeny-Tiny Finger Hugs
I got some of these tonight. When I was putting Abby to bed the second time she grabbed two of my fingers like this with her little hands and whispered, "I give you teeny-tiny finger hugs." It is from her Daddy hugs book. I made me smile!

Mornings
Lately when Abby comes into my room to wake me up in the mornings, she goes into my closet and finds me a pair of pants and a shirt to put on. Then she places my glasses above my shirt and some days earings are added too. She will not let me get out if bed until she has it all set up.
I liked this little bit of information about preschoolers...
Preschoolers simply don't think the way adults do — they aren't yet capable of logical thinking. Instead they think very literally, which means they can't grasp abstract concepts, and egocentrically, meaning they can't imagine anyone's perspective but their own, says Wendy Ludlow, a licensed clinical social worker and child and family therapist who runs Therapy With a Twist.
If you're sad, your preschooler might give you his teddy bear because that's what would comfort him and therefore — he reasons egocentrically — that must also be the thing you need. He simply can't understand you might prefer a spa day.

Perfect Afternoon and the things Abby Says!
Today Stu met me and the kids for a lunch picnic at the park. It was so fun! Thank you babe for taking time out of your busy schedule to come hang out with us. It meant a lot to me and Abby was so excited! While Abby was on the swing and she said to me... Don't get to close to me or I will hit you with my dangerous head, it has hair on it! Some times the things she says are so random, but I love it! When I was taking her to bed tonight I don't remember why I said this, but I said, "blanky, blanky, boo!" She starts laughing and said, "You said Poo." I said, No, I said boo," and she said, "No, you said poo."

Feed ME!!!
Tonight for dinner Sam polished off 3 Gerber 2nds baby food and 1 Gerber
2nds pouches baby food. He has never eaten that much in one sitting!
He would finish one and freak out until I opened another one. You would
think I never feed him. Then when he went to bed he drank an 8 oz bottle.
First Ear Infection
I took Sam to the pediatrician today because he has been sick for the past four weeks and he has not been his happy self the last couple days. Dr. Gustin said she didn't even need to listen to his lungs with a stethoscope she could hear how offal he sounded with out it. When she did listen to his lungs she said he sounded like a squeaky toy when he breathed. Then she looked in his ears and his left ear was infected. So, she put him on an antibiotic for his ear infection and a steroid for his wheezing and cough. Hopefully he will be back to normal soon. Poor little fella!

Sam is getting bigger and sitting up...
Sam is starting to sit on his own. He still topples over quite a bit, but he is getting there. He is such a cute little guy! He has been sick again for the past 4 week, but even being sick he is still pretty happy. He has not lost his appetite this time around. When he was sick before he wouldn't eat much. We don't have that problem any more. He eats a Gerber yogurt every morning with a 4 oz bottle, then for lunch he has a veggie and a fruit baby food. Then has two 4-6 oz bottle some where in there for nap times. For dinner her usually eats a veggie and fruit baby food then eats what ever we are eating too. He just loves to eat. We can't eat unless he is eating too. Then before he goes to bed her drinks a 6-8 oz bottle. He is a growing boy that is for sure.
Just a Spoon full of Sugar...
Last night when I was putting Abby to bed I was singing her some songs and I started singing, Just a Spoon full of Sugar, and she said no mommy sing, Just a spoon full of cereal helps the Benedryl go down. I just started laughing then of course she did too. The things she says!
