Two Nights In A Row!

Sam has slept through the night two nights in a row!  Ahhhh!

Visit with Santa Claus

Santa came to our ward party last week and Abby was so excited to go tell him that she wanted him to bring her a baby kitchen.  Everyday she tells us she wants a kitchen from Santa.  Hopefully she shapens up her act so he will bring it to her. (  :   I really wonder what she is thinking.  If she thought that if she asked for it that night that he would have it there or what.  I don't know how much she understands.  She probably understands more than I think.  She was such an angel that night.  It was so fun to see how excited she was that Santa came.  I want to be a kid again!

She has also been telling us she wants Santa to bring her a candy cane.  Few... mark that of the list.

Oh Abby!

I leave her alone for five minutes and she used all of Grandmas lips stick on her cheeks.  I walk in on her putting it on and she said, "Mommy look in the mirror, I beautiful!"

Sorry for the naked photo, but I just had to take a picture.  I thought it was too cute.

Snuggle Bug

Today Abby and I took a shower together then we got her diaper on and she went and climbed into my bed, got all cozy and was watching Up while I did my hair.  After I finished I walked back into my room and she said, "Mommy come snuggle bug with me."  How could I pass that up.  I ran over and snuggled with her for a few minutes. We have not had the change to do that as much since Sam the man came along. It was too cute.  Sometimes I need moments like that to remember how much I love my TWO YEAR OLD... especially after this week.
Love you Abby!

Mr. Brinch

Abby's favorite movie right know is, How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey.  She calls it Mr. Brinch. She would watch it all day long if she could.  I really am not a fan of this movie.  I love the cartoon version but I'm not a big fan of Jim Carrey.  She likes to pretend that she is Cindy Lou Who and I'm the "Brinch."  Lately that has been very fitting since she has started to climb out of her crib and comes into our room and wakes us up every morning at 6:20am... or this morning it was 4:15.  Oh, and napping doesn't happen any more, why should she when she can just climb out.  I have been a bit Grinchy!

MSA Tree

This year I was able to help with the MSA tree for Festival of Trees.  I think it turned out beautiful.  Nice job ladies!  Next year I'm in charge.  EEK!

So Sweet!

I just love my little man!  I never want him to get big.  I just love snuggling with him.

Buddies

Abby loved having her cousins here for a week.  She especially liked Ben.  The two of them were so cute together.  Ben does not speak quite as well as Abby, but Abby could understand everything he said and would translate it for us.  It was pretty funny.  One of the times they were in the tub together Jon came in to get Ben out and Abby said, "No Jon, Ben is not done swimming."  Ben is so laid back so Abby could just order him around.  They played great together.  We wish Ben lived closer.  One morning while they were here Abby decided to get up at 4:30am After fighting her for a half hour we went up stairs and started eating breakfast.  A few minutes later Ben came crawling down the stairs.  They had a great time together, I was the one that did not enjoy my early morning with two, two year olds.

A Night at Temple Square

We started the evening at The Old Spaghetti Factory.  Abby enjoyed pushing the "big button" the head light on the trolley. Abby had a little freak out there.  The waiter brought out macaroni and cheese and put it in front of her and it was not hers so they took it away and gave it to one of the other kids and gave her, her spaghetti.  She starts screaming because she wants the macaroni and cheese, so Stu takes her out and calms her down.  They come back in and the waiter took her spaghetti and brought her some macaroni and cheese.  Then she started freaking out because she wanted spaghetti.  Grandpa Mark just shared his with her.  Gotta love two year olds.
