Tubing with daddy

Abby wanted to go wake boarding so she put on gloves just like daddy.

Abby learned a new song, The Little Red Caboose. She loved to sing it with our guests.

We spent the last few days in Lake Powell. It was a short trip Sunday - Wednesday. It was perfect with Abby though. She doesn't sleep well when we are not at home so Stu and I get tired and I get grumpy. Abby loved it! She loved being on the boat and being on the big boat (the house boat). When we would go for rides on the boat she would just sit there calm and relaxed. She loved to watch her daddy surf (wake board and slalom). Everytime he would get back on the boat and for the rest of the day she would say good job surfing daddy. It was pretty cute. We spent the week with Lafaunda's cousin and three granddaughters. They were really nice people. I am glad we got to meet them. One of the first excursions on the boat we took the three girls tubing and as soon as they were done Abby wanted to go to (i do). So Stu went for a ride in the tube with her. She didn't want to get off. She also wanted to wake board after Stu finished - maybe next year. Abby loved playing in the sand but hated the water. She didn't like it when boats would make waves on the shore. She would say she was scared and run to us. The weather was perfect. It was only in the 80's. The water was a little cold but Abby never got in it and being prego I couldn't do anything so I didn't have to get in it either. She must be my daughter. It wasn't the nice relaxing trip we are used to, lounging around playing games. We never play a game because Abby decided to start crawling out of her crib on this trip so we had to lay with her until she fell asleep or she would just crawl out. So, by the time she fell asleep we were almost asleep, so we would just go to bed. No late night games. We did eat a lot of junk. Abby was in heaven Capri Suns all the time, candy, cookies, fruit snacks, we don't let her eat like that at home. But we don't eat like we did at home either. It was a fun little trip. We are just debating whether or not to take Abby when we go back next month.
